Anime and Manga: Part 4 Passion

I've heard people talk about how the best movie they ever watched was one that made them think about the ideas in it even when the movie was over. For me this is truly the case. That is why I like Anime. American television seems to just be entertainment. But Anime goes deeper, after I watch an anime I'm left thinking about it, wondering about myself and my world. Many Anime focus on the ideas of self sacrifice, battle of good and evil, and the importance of relationship.

I believe that God can use anything for his glory, so why not Anime? I believe that this is fantastic medium for evangelism. And I believe this is his plan for me. And so I am passionate about this.

NEWS / ANNOUNCEMENTS
Skillet's new album “Awake” released yesterday! John Cooper wrote a blog telling his favorite memory from the album recording saying: “Our live violinist, named Jonathan Chu, came to record on a few songs. After he played his parts, he, Korey and Jen were sitting at the lunch table talking about how amazing Lasik eye surgery is… Then someone had the great idea to look it up on YouTube… About 30 seconds later I came back into the room and Jonathan Chu was passed out on the floor and Korey and Jen were freaking out because they thought he was joking! It was NOT a joke. And of course, I started laughing even though it was inappropriate!” More updates and tour dates can be found at Skillet.com.
