GENERAL INTERESTS
Helping others, anything to do with police activities, cell phones, cars, computers, digital photography, guitar hero ( I want to get this one from an online Christian store, it's for the computer, just like guitar hero). I don't go broke buying video games for my playstation 2. In fact, I buy mine usually at a cheaper price at the pawnshops.
I don't watch modern tv shows that much, I mainly watch Fox News, TV Land, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, The Weather Channel, The Travel Channel, and TruTV.
HOBBIES
My social websites, myspace and mequam. Digital photography, I love shooting my pistol when I can afford to go to the range.
I enjoy driving my car, it's a 98 ford mustang. Before I got back to focus with Jesus Christ I had my license plate custom done to say PITBUL1. I love pitbull dogs, but I do not idolize them. I would really like to get one because with the right one there really a lovable dog. I mean the right one! I use to take them for walks at the Ogden Animal Shelter. I kind of just fell in love with the breed. It use to be German Shepards and Rotweillers.
I like to fish when I can. Go skiing in the winter when I can. Be a mentor to younger people.
I am 35 years old. I spend alot of my time working in two pretty good jobs. I work full time doing inhouse security for a large nutritional supplement company. I have been here since I was 21 back in April 1995.
I later on eanred a certificate in institutional and ambulatory pharmacy technician. In 2000 I went to Weber State University and completed the police academy in January 2001.
In March 2001 I became a reserve police officer for the city of Ogden Utah. 7 years ago this month I became a squad leader, and have kept the rank to this day.
I have tried to always follow the way of life as to give more and expect less. I was born with a rare birth defect called Arnold Chiari Malformation. It basically kinks off the stem of the brain between the skull and spine. Mine was quite serious when it was discovered by Dr. Glenn Church. I was 17 years old when I was given the news.
I never really talked about it to anyone till just recently on myspace and facebook. After reading some stories and receiving some emails I understood then just how fortunate I really am. I was fortunate to have it discovered when I was young.
I spent 2 days in the intensive care unit and another 5 days recovering. I had to regain some of my abilities. I didn't like to be waited on but the nurses were nice so it made it easier.
I decided back then I was going to help others. I never wanted to do so many things I have done to gain fame. But being recognized for stuff is nice but as long as it's not overblown and it's brief.
In 2004, I was given a distinguished service award for that year. It was great to have my name on a huge plaque of names of fellow officers from years past. It helps when I feel like I am not making a difference in God's family here in my community.
